Um. There is a great deal of ridiculousness in what you said, but just to
point out two specific items: 1. No garbage collection on the device is an
utterly reasonable technical choice, and obviously a contextual one. It's
rather absurd to complain about it's lack as a sort of failure of expertise.
They DO have GC on the desktop, you know, yes? And knowing a little bit
about this area, let me tell you that their current approach of automatic
reference counting via static analysis is an extremely, richly, beautifully
good idea. 2. All the evidence we've seen suggests Apple was not offered
FRAND licensing terms by Samsung. I do not know where the legal right
and wrong lies here, but it's off-base to say the least to cast this as a
