Thanks for letting my steam off for me.
I know that a lot of people here at Groklaw and
in the legal system of the United States have
faith and confidence in how the US court system
works, but in my opinion, it is malfunctioning.
Samsung can appeal on the grounds that key evidence,
timely filed with the court, was not allowed to be
presented to the jury. I think there must be
something fundamentally wrong with the process
to allow that to happen.
It was refreshing to read how Samsung's counsel
lost his composition and said "Why even have a
trial? What's the point?". I couldn't agree more.
