It sounds good at first. But do the patent trolls have any assets besides the
patent they are using? I thought that was why each troll is shell company - they
file chapter 7 is they have to pay costs.

You're not keeping up with the trolls.

Because, if you were, you'd note that Interminable Vultures and the other big
trolls don't ever actually sue anyone.

They find some vacant office in an East Texas slum. They incorporate that vacant
office and its resident rodents. And they gift that incorporated V.O. (and
resident rodents) with a single quantum of preciousssss intellectual property.

And the lawsuit is filed by one of the rabit rats (on behalf of the
I.V.O.A.R.R.) But Interminable Vultures? THEY aren't involved, no, not them, not
at all! Their preciousssss beeeellions of quanta are completely safe from
counterclaims or seisures.
