In the long run, I doubt it this will impact Samsung much. They have already
changed their tablet design and I think the S3 is different enough that it is
outside of the phone design patents. That just leaves utility patents, which
are
easy enough to design around. For example, the bounce feature has been
removed. Now photos and lists glow blue when you reach an edge. Honestly, if
it only cost Samsung $1b (or even $3b after treble damages) to become the
market leader in smartphones, I think it is was a good investment.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

like the fact this case comes after about 12 others that apple
lost
in other nations....this is gonna make the usa look like
playing favorites and that starts trade wars....
