If we don't know the customer share distribution, then not fair to jump on Apple
(we have enough other fair reasons for that). Even if the number were 90%,
though, I think we'd need a bit more information before assigning culpability to

I doubt that Apple is anywhere near 50% of their work. iPhone sales are
projected as high a 50 million in the next quarter. I doubt it takes 600,000
employes to assemble that many. That's only about one iPhone per day per
employee.

I suspect Foxconn actually own several well known component brands. They've
started some years back making their own-brand mobos, seeing as they seemed
already to be making most of them for other people. I'm fairly sure there's a
Gigabyte tie-up there somewhere, along with several others.
