As a Swedish citizen you should know that Sweden before illegally transferred
people to US agents.
There is also some strange folk in migrationsverket that still think that
"we're just following the law" is an acceptable excuse for doing
something that almost everyone seems to agree is clearly wrong (and strangely
nobody calling them out on it, as a German that makes me feel _majorly_ awkward
and unsure if I should dare point out how offending I feel them using such an
argument).
Now likely in all cases they were just being incompetent idiots (against which
public attention protects quite well) but I can't help but feel that you have a
lot less reason to feel offended than you think.
I admit that probably all countries have some dirt to hide, so maybe I'm really
unfair here. Germany never really did anything about US airbases in the country
being used to abduct people as an example.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
