Perhaps he thinks he is. But he's not, really.
It's pretty inconvenient and expensive to have another
trial, but either way, one of the two large unbelievably
wealthy corporations involved in this dispute will be
footing the bill. Hopefully the one that started it.
The whole patent war going on at the moment is orders of
magnitude more expensive and inconvenient than this little
bump in the road, and more stupid than Mr Hogan's legal
theories about prior art too.
One small cog tried too hard to be relevant in a big
complicated machine it didn't understand, and got its 15
minutes of fame before being switched out and dropped on the
factory floor. Big deal.
