Well, I think a few of us here have speculated that Ballmer will be going when
Monopoly Phone 8 goes the way of the Kin, and Winbloat 8 goes the way of
MessyDOS 4.0, so this could be the beginning of his forced exit. Of course,
the real reason could be that he is running up an excessive furniture
bill.... Either way, it is clear that the Vile Monopoly are sliding ever
nearer to the edge of the precipice. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

I thought I heard a chair crashing against the wall yet again today, coming from
Balmer's office! ;^)
At least Balmer is keeping the furniture stores in Redmond, in the black! ;^)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

News pick: Searching for images on Bing?
Beware search engine poisoning
I
was wondering why Bing is so much better at pointing
people at malware than
other search engines. The obvious
conspiracy theory is that Windows 8 is on the
way and
Microsoft needs to poison Windows 7 installations so
people will
upgrade re-buy.
Do Bing results depend on OS version? [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

What they should be looking at is two things, firstly the major problems caused
to everyone by software patents, and second, why certain anonymous parties have
it in for Google. We can guess who is behind this, and both of the prime
suspects are far from guiltless. Indeed, they are only drawing attention to
Google to deflect attention from their own considerable misdeeds. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
