Parent claims that software is more than math.
Parent is wrong. Math is more than software.
But Software is NOT more than math.
There is a one-to-one correspondence between software and math.
To think otherwise is to be ignorant of either math or software

If you can find a set of formulas to describe the position and type of each
particle constituting the plane and how each part in the plane interacts, then
the plane would not be patentable.
However, we are not sufficiently advanced to reduce a physical construct like a
plane to bare theory, so it remains patentable, and not comparable to software,
