Here is Amazon's Kindle License Agreement and Terms
of
Use:
Changes to Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the
Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
Termination. Your rights under
this Agreement will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any term
of this Agreement. In case of such termination, Amazon may immediately revoke
your access to the Service without refund of any fees. Amazon's failure to
insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with this Agreement will not
constitute a waiver of any of its rights. So, no refund. Here are additional Conditions of Use, which
interestingly were updated on the 10th and which include not sharing your
account:
If you use any Amazon Service, you are responsible for
maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting
access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all
activities that occur under your account or password....Amazon reserves the
right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel
orders in its sole discretion....You may not use a false e-mail address,
impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a
card or other content.
