I don't think this is PJ's issue so maybe this doesn't
belong in corrections
but when I do the math on this one I
am coming up with a $6 fee for the
windows phones. The
discrepancy appears to be in the "Example year: 2010"
graphic, for some reason the chart shows the 'Portfolio
Discount' (20%) as
being $6 which makes sense ($30 * 0.2 =
6) but for the 'not using Apple
proprietary features
discount' also listed in the first graphic as 20% the
total
is given at $3. If the discount for a windows phone with a
physical
keyboard is 80% off then the total fee should be $6
($30*0.8 = 24,
$30-$24 = $6, or to shorten that $30*0.2=$6).
While this is
a little better than the $9 it still is equal
to the $6 that Samsung is
asking for and still invalidates
