Wow, obviously touched a sore point there.
So here's a question for you. Why when I switch on GPS on my Android phone do I
have to agree to send "anonymous" data to Google? It's not because
it's using wifi to locate, there are two separate location settings and wifi is
disabled. It's my device, it has a gps in it, but I can't enable it without
sending data to google? And if it's truly anonymous it's of no value at all,
just a pair of coordinates. This is a massive invasion of my privacy, it's my
device and it's my location.
Wake up, Google are just another massive corporation trying to make tons of cash
however they can. If you think they have some moral agenda about making the
