FEMA here during Irene ran around on hills and wasted alot of money having staff
survey door to door where there will never be flooding ever. I have worked with
them and find many things they do that are their operation policies and program
to be plain idiotic. They, at rhe least, need a full review from top to bottom.
Maybe they should be diaolved and the money just handed over to state and local
disaster resources. The states have these folks and often when FEMA shows up,
FEMA duplicates what they are doing, and should just hand off all control and
money to thwse state folks wh are more than able and who know their areas better
than the FEMA staff that show up (who are clueless about most very thing in the
local area that they are assigned to). Mitt does contribute as Yes the whole of
FEMA needs to be evaluated, and maybe eliminated (giving the monay to the states
to put it to better use).[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
