That wouldn't do it, because the fall guy would already be in jail at that
point. You need a a believeable threat to make that work.
Jail the top guy, then mention that the new top guy will join him unless things
get fixed. Repeat until it works.
I'd bet that you wouldn't need to repeat it more than a couple of times before
it either works, or the whole UK staff of Apple quit to avoid jail time. (The
UK website might be managed from america, so no-one in the UK might have the

Were I the court, I'd have ordered:
"All right, take as much time as you like. However, for deliberately
subverting the original order, Apple is going to be fined one million pounds an
hour for contempt until it complies, starting from when Apple was supposed to
have the notice originally posted. And no, there will be no stay granted by
this court while you futilely appeal to the Supreme Court of the United
