What's wrong with nudity?
Authored by: tinkerghost on Thursday, November 01 2012 @ 12:33 PM EDT
I have seen art books with breasts, buttocks, and genetalia blacked out. I also
attended a conference that had an art show where the police came in and put
black tape over "offensive" portions of framed pictures and required
pictures that couldn't be taped to be removed.
That Apple would block anything showing adult content doesn't surprise me in the
least. In American culture, nudity and sexuality are synonimous to many people.

I can see the gorilla kniters making a scarf for him to cover the naughty bits.

Nudity interferes with the murderous vigour a culture needs to subjugate its
neighbours.

The famous "Last Judgment" fresco by Michelangelo now has flowing
drapery covering privates of various nude figures. These were not in his
original work, but were added after he died.

The American puritanical nature really *insert expletive
here*.

What they possibly think about Germany, or the nordic
countries, or France I really don't know. For example,
French adverts for soap & shower products will happily show
women's breasts at pretty much any time of day.

It's just parts of our bodies. Get over it!

Oh, and please stop pushing your views on the rest of the
world.
