"Technical Difficulties" = "Time to think up acceptable PR spin"
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, November 01 2012 @ 10:12 AM EDT
It seems somebody wasn't planning on this.....

Not to mention that I didn't think their link was in any kind of "14 point
Arial"
font....

My guess: Court orders the full text on the homepage, and fines Apple a M
illion Euros per day. And Samsung won't have to ask.....

Searchlight on CEO too
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, November 01 2012 @ 11:10 AM EDT
The Telegraph has a quote from one of the judges:-

"He suggested that Tim Cook, Apple's chief executive, should make a
statement to the court explaining why the change would take so long."

That's a heavy warning shot across the bows.

Take them at their word

According to Apple, Apple lack the technical competence to change a page on their website in under 14 days.

Not there yet

I cannot believe that Apple is so arrogant that they are either trying to face
the judge down or waiting until the last possible moment.

It's now 09:38 and the link and offending webpage is still up. (I've cleared my
cache to make sure.) If, as I suspect, the web page is controlled by the USA
office, everyone is in bed.

Are they really willing to have their CEO perjure himself?
