Now if we could only convince Apple's CEO of that. Certainly
you're in good
company: cf. Forbes. As Haydn
Shaughnessy puts it:
"... in the end it is in the consumer
community
that Apple’s reputation is going to be trashed. It’s what
people
think of the brand that matters. And where Apple has
a huge advantage over
Samsung is the values people associate
with its products and services. I think
Apple puts this at
risk by taking the fight in this
direction."
I personally think Mr Cook has looked long
and hard at
Samsung in particular as the archetype of a company which
has
completely steamrollered its opposition in Korea, Japan,
and even China. He is
determined to derail them at ALL
costs, including Apple's
reputation.
This is only the beginning, gentlemen.
