UK Judges Respond to Apple's Snarky Notice: Take It Down and Tell That It Was Untrue ~pj

Hopefully, if Apple do mess around again, the Court of Appeals will re-instate
the original order. Oh - and double the length of time, and say that the rest of
the home page is not allowed to be any more than the same space again.

Even better, that the home page must consist SOLELY of this notice, with a small
link at the bottom saying "proceed to the rest of the home page". :-)

Cheers,
Wol

UK Judges Respond to Apple's Snarky Notice: Take It Down and Tell That It Was Untrue ~pj

<quote>Every UK lawyer I have ever met has told me to go every
extra mile to stay out of court </quote><p>

Very true. Here in Britain we have less lawyers (which we call solicitors). They
are so busy that they have no financial advantage in leading you into court. If
they can show you an amicable way out, they know they are assured of your future
custom. They are proud of their skill of steering you out of the mire. The only
comparison with their US counterparts that I can see, is that they don't give
out advice for free. Also, they forget when its their turn to buy the round of
drinks at the golf club.
