I think that the entire Groklaw community greatly appreciates the efforts of
those who have reported on court proceedings in the past, and have eager
anticipation of the efforts of those who will be doing so in the future. The
reports we have had have shown the mood of the proceedings, whereas the
transcripts are just words, important as they are. Put the two together and you
get a much better picture of the whole trial. I do wish that something was
happening near me, with adequate warning, so that I could be there. The most
recent appearance of Apple in a UK court, for instance, would definitely have
been fun, short as it was, but it came rather suddenly. If there is another big
one coming in London, I will try to book time off work to be there, as although
my reporting skills are rather poor, it will still be interesting. At one time I
was hoping that SCO would sue someone in the UK, as under any of the UK legal
systems it would have been rather interesting. Vexatious litigation and/or
