my biggest fear is that google is sitting on the sidelines because they really
don't have any ammunition. They are fearful of Apple's IP because it will
triumph in a courtroom in the US (unjustly, but winning nonetheless). I can't
see any "trap" that Google could be setting right now. The only things
i could think of are
* Apple's current litigation strategies are just ruining their own name
* maybe the SEPs in the moto case could result in an import ban on the iphone
but the latter seems very unrealistic for an american company to ban america's
favorite smartphone.

and Apple's image isn't being ruined as much as it should be. I talked with a
bunch of people last weekend who aren't really Apple fan boys but like apple
products (my mother included) and they had no idea about any of the litigation
going on. They were slightly appalled when i proceded to give them a 5 minute
summary of all the garbage Apple has been up to. I would venture to say the
majority of the people out there don't realize that Apple is rotten to the core
(pun intended). Which is why they get away with openly slandering companies like
Samsung and Google. It's like i always say about politics, i hate when all a
politician has to say is bad things about the other guy. I don't want to hear
what he did in 7th grade or what he didnt do last year... what are you going to
do next year? But history has shown that mudslinging works, that's why people do
it. And right now, Apple is doing all the mudslinging. Google is taking the high
road in my opinion, but no one notices you when you're on the high road.
