As I also didn't see the post down in this article before posting the GP.
There is also another answer to the GP that further confirms, that is how
Windows people think.
Personaly, I've been punished into running Windows XP in a machine with 1GB of
RAM, it is bad, but I can't be sure about how much of it is because of the
anti-virus and how much is plain Windows bad. Funny that it has about the same
specs as my laptop, and it runs KDE4 (do you know about a heavier DE for Linux?)
perfectly fine. (So fine that I'm thinking about replacing it with an Asus
Transformer, that has the about the same amount of memory, about the same
processing capacity, more battery life and is lighter. I don't need a device
like what gets called a "laptop" anymore.)[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
