That the financial terms of a settlement of a largely similar suit is not
relevant is like a valley girl moment.

Interestingly, the fact that the judge ruled against Apple on this matter is
judged significant enough as to be newsworthy this morning by the BBC. The
article also references again, for those who missed them the first time, Apple's
recent court setbacks in the UK, Germany and the US.

Mueller is on the payroll of Apple's lawyers, as was uncovered in the Oracle v.
Google suit. So naturally he cheerleads for his paymasters. Particularly
amusing is his new post after the motion to compel the HTC license was granted,
where he tries to falsely spin his prior post as neither agreeing nor
disagreeing with his law firm masters. Who says there is no comedy in patent
law?[ Reply to This | # ]

Here you can laugh at Apple yet again showing how to use their patented
iFootGun.
Ya woulda thought Apple would say "Hmm, if we settle with HTC, Samsung just
MIGHT want to use that against us."
Can't wait to see that agreement.[ Reply to This | # ]
