It is very easy to copy an executable software file, and Apple's Software
License (EULA) specifically prohibits this action. This was the feature
they used to bring down Psystar.

Well, patents are supposed to protect a real-world process;
in reality we see them used to protect concepts, mere ideas.
I wonder when copyright will be likewise perverted.
Actually, maybe it has, with some [expletive deleted] suing
for 9 words in a text (or is that 11 words). Maybe claiming
that chemical formulas are, after all, text; and therefore
deserve copyright protection in pharmaceuticals.
Horresco referens. I should patent that idea and not
license it. But it's a concept, so, etc.
