Which reminds me of the one time I was called for jury duty.
In the context of the question I can think of what the
defendant was accused of, but keep in mind my answer has
nothing to do with my religious beliefs but my understanding
of the question I was asked (since the defendant was not a
doctor):
Lawyer: Do you think that touching the penis is in any way
sexual?
Me: Yes
Lawyer: Dismissed
Needless to say, I was not serving on that jury.
Fortunately, this was a straightforward question/answer, but
there were other questions I would have had to expand on in
order to truthfully answer.
I can honestly say I was not eager to serve on a jury since
my job did not pay for time away from work, but I would also
honestly say I would have served if called and done my best
to follow the rules and the evidence to the best of my
ability without prejudice or bias.
