You seek to use logic to prove your belief that God does not
exist. You cant
prove it to someone of faith, just as
someone of faith cant prove to you that
God exists. There
are no hard facts either way.
The example you have used
As for the various religions, they can't all be
right and it's
much more likely they're all wrong. Every one
of them.
The first
part of that statement "As for the various
religions, they can't all be right"
can also be used to
prove that God exists. Otherwise how
could belief in God
be so widespread? It is evident in
cultures that have no contact with others,
even found in
small groups living in the rain forest. Granted their belief
system doesnt match others. But it can be used to show the
knowledge of a
creator is written into mans conscious, perhaps by that very
creator.
Can
they all be right? No, someone has to be in error. I
find it more likely that
those that deny the existence are
wrong. Atheism is a form of belief, because
they cant prove
God doesn't exist
with the same facts they want others to use
to prove God
exists. By your own logic you are proving yourself wrong
since
"Every one of them.", meaning anyone with a belief
about God is wrong. Since
you cant prove God doesn't exist,
its a belief about God, therefore in your
view, wrong.
Again, I cant prove anything to you. But Im not trying
to.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
