You're gonna believe what you believe.
In my mind the NRA lost any claim to moderation with their stance on Teflon
coated bullets.
Or maybe Bambi wears a Kevlar vest in your neck of the woods, so hunters
need the Teflon bullets. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Yes, gun bans work to disarm the law abiding along with the rest, and almost all
massacres in the U.S. were done using arms that were acquired from the property
of law abiding citizens.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

There were three I can readily think of over a 10 year period before the ban
(Port Arthur, Queen St, Hoddle St), and not one in the 16 years since. Enough
stats for you?
It is no surprise that the NRA has had a hand in writing the gun laws that have
led to so many US tragedies. Maybe you shouldn't be leaving Dracula in charge of
your blood bank.
If the NRA are the "moderates", I shudder to think about what your
gun-toting extremists must be like.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

~18 mass shooting in ~ 18 years prior to the ban. None in
the ~18 years since.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
