Odd. So they are willing to license it, just not if the same
charger can be used to charge non-Lightning devices. Seems a
bit shortsighted.

Can somebody help me with this one?
It is an interface. What are they
licensing?
I would understand if the trademark
"Lightning" may have to be licensed,
but why bother?
What else is protected?
Copyright? Wouldn't that go under
fair use, like Java APIs in Oracle-
Google case?
Patents? Did they actually manage to
patent it? How did they bypass the
obviousness test?
