Not me.
I do argue that if you really want to eviscerate software patents, you really do
have to go after the combination of software and the machine it is connected
to.
As long as Diamond is good law, it will be possible to use patents to exclude
others from performing certain calculations for profit, if not fun.

I'm not arguing that you're not running the program in your head. I'm arguing
that, in order to do so, you are, at some level, pretending to be a computer --
either a particular machine, or perhaps a higher level abstraction of a machine.
That's a simulation, not of the program, but of the hardware that runs the
program.
