Imagine:
Device with voice recognition that also reads text aloud.
Malicious web site puts admin commands in white-on-white
text, device reads and executes them. Anybody wanna see:
sudo rm -rf /*

I guess keyboards have already been replaced by touch screens.
"Voice is the best means of communication between humans,"
which explains the popularity of texting, I guess. How does VR fit here? Does
it convert voice to text on my side, then text to voice on yours?
I don't like the idea of my eyes being scanned. I don't trust anyone to blast
my eyeballs with IR, especially Hollywood. OTOH, imagine being able to capture
retina scans from hundreds of people at once.
I'm not excited about VR, either. Like any technology, it can be useful, and
abused.
Which brings to mind:
"Your mind is on vacation, but your mouth is working overtime," -
