I have a bachelor of arts degree in Chemistry. (And an MS in Chemistry.)
The difference between the BA and BS degrees, in a large part, is in the

When I was an undergrad, my Uni didn't do Bachelors of Science. So I'm a BA
"majored in Chemistry" as I put it.
And my first attempt at a Masters was a Master of Science in History. (I
eventually got a Master of Science in Medical Technology.)
And I think, even now, you can't get a Science degree at Oxford University.

Some modern uUnis think it is trendy, and some ancient ones just have not caught
up with the times. In my case it was a very new uni being trendy. They did offer
