I'd already found your first link. The NYT story was an interesting summary,
especially the link to the "Crazy Quilt" paper. That confirmed my
fears, that a felon who completed his sentence and parole or probation
might or might not get the vote depending on his State of residence.
And if he moved house interstate his voting privilege might or not
change entirely at the whim of some local state official who could
be as confused about it as me, a foreigner.
