The fact that judge Koh thinks that smartphones *are* terribly complex
instruments is part of the problem. They are *not* complex, and neither Apple
nor any other company "invented" any part of them. They are devices
that have been created over the last hundred years by the incremental
discoveries of countless individuals. To assign patents to such things and give
the rights to one person or one company is supremely unfair and irrational.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
