When I first said that Microsoft was in rough shape three years ago, I got
told I was crazy a lot. Now Forbes and Business Insider are saying that the
company has problems, and hy an't be accused of being Microsoft haters.

I am certainly not a business analyst, but I think perhaps
the business world is beginning to see M$ for what it really
is. M$ can no longer keep up the charade of being a
technical leader in the computer tech world. All M$ can do
is extort others to license bogus patents using threats of
endless resource draining lawsuits. All M$ can do is steal
others ideas or buy other businesses because they are
TOTALLY unable to innovate anything themselves. M$ has
become a third rate company in the computer tech world.
M$ has been throwing money around for advertising and so called
"investments". How much have the really profited
from such actions? True, M$ makes enormous profits from
their close-to-zero cost software, but that is only bacause
they have been able to stifle competition in those areas.
Those days are slowly but surely coming to an end.
As more and more people migrate from typical computers
(desktop, notebook, etc.) to smaller and more portable
units, M$ can no longer compete. They have no serious
offerings because they have lost the ability to create
anything new. But then M$ has NEVER truly competed in
the marketplace anyway. Perhaps that is what the analysts
are finally realizing.
A world without M$ would be really nice. Even for a short
while until the next evil empire appears.
