If it can be locked it can be opened. Sometimes the opening is easier than the

This is so simple and elegant! I wonder how much time it took Microsoft to code
ASLR?
Some things never change. Back in 1990, I broke the password encryption (being
generous here) in Microsoft LAN Manager by changing passwords several times and
comparing the passwords to the encryption. It was a barrel-shift algorithm,
otherwise known as a Captain Marvel Magic Decoder Ring. In one form, it is
called ROT-13.
Equivalent to hiding something by shouting "Don't look!" Just as
effective in security as in a strip show. It makes people look.
