It's too bad that Microsoft now, due to competition, if
discovering that what they try to push down throats, is not
always what is wanted.
Before, we had to take it.
Today, we don't.
Windows 8 is rotten to the core.

Microsoft is preparing a justification for
buying Dell and stabbing their current
OEM partners in the back. Once they
buy Dell they will go it alone.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Do you suspect that maybe a lot of people not liking W8 might have had something
to do with this?

Microsoft's advertising campaign can't help. So far I've seen:
- A youtube add where the first words I hear are "I can't feel your bones
but I can see them". Best case scenario is an xray, worst case is some
horrific accident.
- A second youtube add where the first words are "I say the same thing
twice". Not as bad as the first add, but still worrying.
MS has a very poor choice of background music in their adds.
Then there is the IE10 advertising campaign, which seems based on nostalgia.
When everyone I know stopped using IE because other browsers were more
advanced.
Compare that to the marketing campaigns of other browsers. Assuming you can
remember any. I can't.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
