I think that many of the dinasaur business models depend on
the inablility of people to easily accesss each others
creations. Enter the Internet and all its openess. More
and more the content holders want to move people from real
tangible media to 1's and 0's that can be made to go poof
in a micro-second. Only problem with this is that the 1's
and 0's can also be easily shared in a micro-second with
no loss to the one doing the sharing. The "old" business
models work about as well as Al Capones's business model
of broken legs, cement shoes, etc. for those who commit
transgressions, except now the Gov is in on it too. Heaven
forbid that the Gov actually put their citizens at the
top of their priority list for protection instead of the
wealthy who pull the strings.
