To ... err.. "take advantage" of another in "that way" in the animal kingdom
is usually done as a sign of dominance. Anyone who has ever had two or more
dogs of the same gender will have likely experienced that at some point in the
dogs general relationship.
I currently have two female dogs and the
dominance has been shown in that relationship early on. Of course, humans tend
to find that a bit unsettling so quickly train the dogs out of the
behavior.
As for the rest of the article:
A university
academic has criticised David Attenborough's wildlife shows for not featuring
enough gay animals.
Seriously? Some people don't have enough time
on their hands. Pushing "politically correct equality" on to documentaries that
focus on animals? Wow!
I think I'll avoid the rest of the article if
it's of the same ... err... reporting quality. I just have no interest in
reading about someone being upset that someone else risking their lives in order
to film lions don't take the extra time and risk to capture more.
