It strikes me that a simpler way to defeat at least part of the DMCA would be
for someone to distribute material for which they hold the copyright (preferably
their own creation - this would make life easier). The material must be
distributed using the CSS algorithm or any other "encryption" (rotfl)
that is commonly used. An important point is that the keys must *not* be
distributed.
The person doing this is can now legally authorize the distribution of
"devices" that unlock the material. Authorize libdvdcss.
