I did finally get a Google hit on www.python.co.uk - I used "Python Cloud
Server" as my search terms. One strike; the rest all smell like
Python-with-Spam-and-Eggs. (mmmm, eggs...)
In slithering around on their website, I found their "Python Cloud Server
User Guide", and decided to flick my tongue over the contents.
Interesting, thinks I; on page 10 of that guide is a graphic showing a
screenshot of selectable server templates (this is the displayed portion of a
scrolling list, so it doesn't appear to be complete/exhaustive) and these are
the ones visible:
OpenSUSE 11 64bit
Ubuntu Server 12.04LTS 64bit
Ubuntu Server 11.10 64bit
Windows 7 Professional 32bit
hmmm... that hisses to me that in the context of the products that Python Cloud,
aka www.python.co.uk, offers, they are offering
Python-Guido's-programming-language as part of their product; and further,
inside of that product that they offer, the term Python is used to refer to that
programming language.
In fact, the people most likely to be caught in the coils of the name confusion
would by Python Cloud's customers, because they are also users of the Python
language.
