Well in the UK 85% judgements considered reasonable, given the evidence (prosecution & defence)

Just heard this on radio 4 on the way home from work.

Apparently this is based on a 8K jury survey?

Will look for a source...

Bottom line in the UK Juries get it right and are doing a
good job.

They are paid insignificant in comparison to any job they may otherwise work.
In the US, at least, many companies will pay their employees full wages for days spent on jury duty.
