The number of idiots in London who think they can enter a
junction or roundabout
when the way through to the other side is not clear
(excepting the yellow box
situations when turning) is beyond
belief.
A lot of people appear to be yellow-black/gray colour
blind and can't see the box markings.
What's worse is those who want to turn
right and do NOT enter the box junction even when their exit IS clear.
The
box junction rule is simple: you may enter it if your exit is clear, even if
your route to the exit isn't (eg oncoming traffic prevents you turning across
it).
Buses and taxis are especially bad.
just as bad
are those motorist who zoom past my coach as I slow down on exiting a box
junction and cut in front of me into the 45 ft space into which I was going to
stop, forcing me to ram the brakes on and leave 15-20 ft of my coach stuck out
into the box junction.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
