Ok, so one puts transcripts from the
Comes vs M$ case or
from the case the
current article talks about?
The
Comes thread is just for transcripts of the exhibits
from Comes v Microsoft. Of
course, if you want to jump in
on any article and generate a text version of a
PDF from the
Court, and email it to
PJ, that's always appropriate; many of us
have done so on
past articles. The "graphic" type of PDFs (i.e. the PDFs that
do not have embedded text) are particularly problematic to
transcribe, as they
require either that one type the text by
hand or that one perform OCR on the
file and clean it up by
hand, and I think PJ would always be grateful for help
with
those.
In the former case, IMO it's not the
right
place.

place? --- "When I say something, I put my name next to it." -- Isaac
