An opinion that has value is based upon the best information at hand. It is
not just whatever somebody 'thinks'; at least not on this site. If you don't
provide the information to support your opinion or you don't state your
qualifications to have a such opinion then there is no context within which to
judge the value it. No context - no value.
That is why Groklaw's
evaluation of things is of value when I am formulating my personal opinion on
these matters. I have come to this conclusion because of the efforts to provide
the supporting documentation, the track record of being even handed and having
done this for a long time.

I guess I am saying that an opinion should involve critical
thinking in order to have value.
Critical
Thinking
What gives the Wikipedia entry value is the supporting
references upon which the entry is based.
IMO :)
