Here's the thing though. The Autodesk decision was made at the the 9th Circuit
Appeals level. The SCOTUS declined to hear the case.
Now, with this most recent decision upholding first sale rights, I hope the EFF
is beating the bushes looking for someone to file a new suit against Autodesk or
some other software publisher. (I REALLY hope it's Autodesk though. Please,
please be Autodesk!)
My money paid for the freaking license, I should bloody well be allowed to
