"covered by your Second Amendment."
"I am not a lawyer" but I would find it hard to believe even a lawyer
could classify "hacking tools as a gun".
Now on the other hand I can readily believe that hacking tools are covered by
free speech in the First Amendment.

And what about testing my own firewalls and/or other security layers in my
server farm? Do I actually have to take my servers off-line in order to test
them? Will I also be hauled off to jail and for testing them in their natural
environment?
What these people are shaking their fingers at in fear only shows their
ignorance of the much, MUCH bigger issues we currently face. Security issues
need to be discovered so that we can better protect ourselves.
"Iron sharpens Iron" and all that.

Better hack:

I suppose the fact that it's blatently obvious that all this is covered by the
intent of the second amendment is irrellivant?
And I'd make a comment about the usefulness of people ignoring problems, hopping
they'll go away, but I'd be preaching to the choir here.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
