but the gpl only adds to your rights, once it is 'enforced' you go back to the
default copy-rights.
but that language presumably goes well beyond what copyright allows for.
of course, the easily solution is to avoid their products.

As long as the GPL restricts itself to _copying_ and
_distributing_ and avoids getting involved in _using_, that
is a distinction only a lawyer can love.
Is it a contract if you have to obey even when you decline?
Is it a contract if you do not get your money back when you
decline?
Are these click through EULAs carried on the accounting
books as assets or liabilities?
Where does contract leave off and extortion begin?
