The name Collins brings back memories. In 1964, I was offered a job there, in
which I believe I would have been writing firmware. Firmware is fun, although I
have had only rare occasions to debug and propose fixes at the firmware level.
I am not sure what the computers at Collins would have been used for, but the
people with whom I interviewed were involved in avionics. Water-cooled
computers on an airplane would have been rather a problem, I think.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
