If your "Android" device is from a non-member of
Google's list
of approved OEMs, or if your device has installed one of the
many
hacked Android distros, you cannot establish a Google
sign-on account to
"purchase" from the Play Store via another
browser. You will require some
underlying Google support
in the OS, and while that is widely available, it's
from sites
you wouldn't normally recommend to your mother. I have
Cyanogenmod on my phone with google play and i can
still purchase
apps. I also have Google apps and can purchase stuff a Google Play
on my HP Touchpads running Cyanogenmod. I never bought an Android device,
unless you consider that I bought my Touchpads to expressly put Cyanogenmod on
it. Furthermore, I got all the SW from reputable sites.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
