What I see is that Microsoft seems to want a monopoly on monopolies.... they
want to have it all. Ever since 1997, I've wondered why anybody would want that?
I mean, what would there be left to accomplish after getting "it all"?

Like she says, Google has a Monopoly on search engines.
Not because they are abusing such market power, but because everyone prefers
it.
With that said: Google has been having very weird and unhelpful search results
lately, and I am now looking at other search engines again, because Google's
results aren't getting me where I need to go, with increasing frequency.
For example, tried to find a local computer recycling center, but couldn't
remember the name. I eventually came up with a very strange and contorted search
result and it still didn't come up on the first 5 pages.
Either, Google has changed it's methods or someone is poisoning Google search
results. It used to be always on the first page and usually number one.
