"...But that doesn't help the rest of us
who will be recorded without our knowledge or control..."
What kind of 'help' do you want? Do you think your doctor, lawyer, banker, etc.
is going to allow or make video recordings in their offices? I see Google Glass
being banned in many establishments, including workplaces.
If you have a problem being monitored in public places, you might have to stay
at home. Public surveillance is only going to increase. Most commercial
establishments have video surveillance inside, and many outside as well. ATMs,
traffic cameras, police dash cams, drones, and clandestine operations. Where I
live, high crime areas have dedicated cameras for 24/7 monitoring.
Most of us already carry phones with photo capability, and increasingly, video.
The GG issue will work itself out.
